Janne Mieskonen (FIN)
Introduction
Janne Mieskonen is the drummer and songwriter in Royal Sorrow, a progressive metal outfit from Helsinki, launched in 2024. Known for their versatile and modern sound, Royal Sorrow has been creating waves with the first releases and will e.g. be supporting Leprous on their upcoming European tour. Royal Sorrow’s debut album Innerdeeps will be released in September 2025 via InsideOutMusic.
Janne's playing is dynamic, heavy-hitting and rimshot oriented, so in collaboration with Drumtailor a signature stick 3Bxx was forged with these qualities in mind. The long and sturdy stick offers an even hit and helps to reach all areas of a large drum kit.
