Introduction
I’m Petteri Horn, the drummer for the alternative metal band Awake Again from Turku. I’ve been playing drums for most of my life, working with various bands and projects across a wide range of musical styles. Heavy music with powerful drumming, however, has always been my true passion. With Awake Again, our goal is to perform on the biggest stages the universe has to offer, and now, with the support of Drumtailor Percussion, that dream feels even closer.
I chose DT sticks because from the moment I held my first pair, they felt like pure perfection. Even though they were different from what I was used to, it was as if I’d finally found the sticks I was meant to play with all along. And of course, the Finnish craftsmanship is a huge bonus, making me proud to be a DT endorsed artist!
About the band
Awake Again is a four-member alternative metal band known for blending metal, post-hardcore, and pop elements. They are well-known for their high-energy live performances and dynamic stage presence, having played at notable venues and festivals such as Ruisrock and the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany.
Their debut album, "No Matter How The World Turns" (2022), received praise from domestic music critics. In the spring of 2024, they released a new EP, "A Promise of Better Days" and the band's music has accumulated over six million streams.
