Nils "Dominator" Fjellström (SWE)
Introduction
Nils “Dominator” Fjellström is a Swedish extreme metal drummer best known for his blistering blast beats and technical precision on the kit. He rose to fame as the powerhouse drummer for black metal icons Dark Funeral (earning praise as “one of the most famous extreme drummers ever”) and also made his mark on Swedish death metal with bands like Aeon, Myrkskog and The Wretched End. Fans and media celebrate Fjellström’s ferocious double-bass speed, his incredibly fast stick rolls, and his machine-like playing – his drum playthroughs have millions of views online, a testament to his almost superhuman skill.
Nils joined Drumtailor´s team of Collaboration Artists in 2025 after testing our 5B prototype which he liked a lot. Soon after, he played a central role as the co-developer of the new Velocity Series drumsticks which are designed for fast, agile and powerful playing. Nils uses Velocity Series 5B which reflects his signature precision and extreme-tempo control, making the stick a natural extension of his playing style.
