I'm Kimmo Puhakka, drummer for the symphonic melodic metal band Memoira from Kokkola, Finland. I've been playing with the band since 2021. I started drumming in my youth, playing in several local metal bands, and returned to it about ten years ago before joining Memoira.

Heavy music and powerful drumming have always been my true passion. With Memoira, our goal is to grow as a band and reach bigger stages and audiences. With the support of Drumtailor Percussion, that goal feels closer than ever. I chose Drumtailor sticks because they felt great in my hands from the very first moment - after a few small adjustments, they became a natural extension of my playing.

Memoira, founded in 2007, is known for its epic, atmospheric sound, blending melodic metal with symphonic and ethereal orchestrations into a continuous storytelling experience. Over more than 15 years, we've released three albums, one EP, and several singles, with listeners around the world tuning in daily.
